MOSAIC OF A CENTURY

**The annual Saigon Chamber Music, a not-for-profit collaboration between Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory and Transposition Programme Norway, will make a real difference for the young musicians as well as the musical landscape of the City and Viet Nam. It provides training, international exposure and in-depth understanding of music and inspires the young musicians to set and achieve higher goals in their career. Featuring a world class trio of Atle Sponberg (violin) – Zoë Martlew (cello) – Tra Nguyen (piano) 

Saigon Chamber Music  is pleased to present an excellent concert on August 2, Mosaic of a Century, featuring British Vietnamese pianist Nguyen Bich Tra, British cellist Zoe Martlew and Norwegian violinist Atle Sponberg. They are all leading artists in their field, coming together in Ho Chi Minh City for a wonderful concert programme and a week-long intensive training for the young musicians in Viet Nam. Their concert on Aug 2 at the Conservatory will take you on a unique journey to the depth of human soul, with romantic and impressionist music from Ravel and Kodaly to Shostakovich and more contemporary works. The musical programme is a richly woven mosaic of the 20th century music accented with sounds from the Arabian region and the North Pole.
