StartMeUp movie screening & discussion: "Something Ventured"

Then we bet that you will find fascinating in our screening movie event "Something Ventured: Risk, Reward, and the Original Venture Capitalists" and take chance to discuss a real story in Vietnam with our guest speakers from VC and from start-up that get funded!

"Something Ventured", is a documentary about Apple, Intel, Genentech, Atari, Google,Cisco in the time they do their "revolution" in the twentieth century, and behind those successful story, there is backed by a handful of men who (through timing, foresight, a keen ability to size up other people, and a lot of luck) saw opportunity where others did not: these are the original venture capitalists. In short, this documentary will help the viewer, especially for entrepreneur, understand relationship between startup and venture capital through the story of some world’s most revolutionary such as Apple, Intel, Genentech, Atari, Google, Cisco.

To help attendances get more insight, after the screening part, Start Me Up proudly to invite 2 special guest speakers, 1 from VC and 1 from get-funded startup to discuss more about relationship and behind the scene between entrepreneur and VC, especially in Vietnam. Minh-Đỗ from TechinAsia will be moderator. Name of our guest speakers will be unvil later.
