THX 1138 là một bộ phim khoa học viễn tưởng của Mỹ phát hành năm 1971, lấy viễn cảnh xã hội tương lai khi mà người dân bị kiểm soát bởi những cỗ máy cảnh sát android và bắt buộc sử dụng các loại thuốc ức chế cảm xúc. Được đạo diễn bởi George Lucas trong bộ phim đầu tay của ông ra mắt năm 1971, Francis Ford Coppola giữ vai trò sản xuất, George Lucas và Walter Murch viết kịch bản.

THX 1138 được Lucas phát triển từ bộ phim cũ của ông Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB năm 1967 khi ông theo học tại Học viện điện ảnh nghệ thuật USC 

Baron Oufo là nhóm nhạc gồm 2 thành viên: Eddie Ladoire – nhà soạn nhạc thể loại electro acoustic và là nghệ sĩ âm thanh, và Jérôme Alban – thành viên sáng lập ban nhạc “Year of no light”, một điển hình của thể loại avant-garde metal.

Âm nhạc trong THX 1138 được Baron Oufo đặc biệt biên soạn là sự pha trộn giữa âm thanh cổ điển chủ nghĩa vị lai, âm thanh mô phỏng và tổng hợp, primitive krautrock, sub drone, minimalist doom, trên một loại nhạc nền cụ thể.

Trường âm này sẽ được chơi trực tiếp từ Eddie Ladoire và sẽ dẫn dắt khán giả chìm đắm trong một trải nghiệm ảo giác trong một khối âm thanh không ngừng chuyển động, hoà quyện hoàn hảo cùng cảm giác phấn khích và thế giới quan rộng lớn trong tác phẩm của George Lucas.

Cine-Concert: THX 1138 accompanied by Eddie Ladoire (Baron Oufo) live music

THX 1138 is a 1971 American science-fiction film set in a dystopian future in which the populace is controlled through android police and mandatory use of drugs that suppress emotions. It was directed by George Lucas in his feature film directional debut in 1971. Produced by Francis Ford Coppola and written by George Lucas and Walter Murch.

THX 1138 was developed from Lucas's student film Electronic Labyrinth: THX 1138 4EB, which he made in 1967 while attending the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

Baron Oufo is the duo formed by two musicians: Eddie Ladoire, an electroacoustic music composer and sound artist, and Jérôme Alban, founding member of the band "Year of no light" - a reference in avant-garde metal.

For THX 1138, Baron Oufo has specially composed a music mixing retro futuristic sound design, analog and synthetic sounds, primitive krautrock, sub drone, minimalist doom, on a concrete music background.

This piece will be played live by Eddie Ladoire and will embark the audience on a hallucinated immersion experience in a moving sound mass that blends in perfectly with the anxiogenic and visionary world of George Lucas' work.
