DevFest is an annual event organized by the Google Developer Group at over 600 chapters in different countries around the world. The event is an opportunity for programmers, young people who are passionate about technology to get connected, interact and learn as well as to experience and update new trends in technology around the world.

Hackathon - programming competition is lasting for 2 days, 100 programmers will take place on November 30th and December 1st in 2018 and DEMODAY will be the Gala presentation of tech products from Hackathon teams to the tech lover community in Danang on December 2nd, 2018.

Time : 1h30 p.m to 5h00 p.m on December 2nd, 2018 

Venue : Danang Software Park - 02 Quang Trung str., Hai Chau dis., Da Nang

  • 13h30 - 14h00: Check-in
  • 14:00 - 14:45: Keynote Speaker: Mr. Ken - Google Cloud Team
  • 14h45 - 15h40: Presentation from hackathon teams - 1st round (5 teams)
  • 15h40 - 16h00: Break, teabreak, visit the booth
  • 16h00 - 17h00: Presentation from hackathon teams - 2nd round (5 teams)
  • 17h00 - 17h30: Announcing the results, awarding, lucky draw.

Google Developer Group Mientrung (GDG MienTrung) Google Developer Group Mientrung (GDG MienTrung) is an independent tech-lovers group based in Central Vietnam with the branding support from Google. We usually organize workshops and seminars on technology, events to introduce Google technology to developers, and competitions to search for top developers in Danang and Central Vietnam.
GDG MienTrung was founded in October 2015 and is a sub-unit of GDG Vietnam, the community who are present across Vietnam including HCMC, Hanoi, Can Tho and Danang city.
Our targets are to transfer the knowledge and update the information about technology trends to 1,000+ developers in the area each year.
We wish to build a community for IT students, developers, IT managers and experts, making it a better and better place where they can connect, exchange and share their values to each other.
