About the guest:

Christopher Beselin is the founding partner of the frontier activist investment fund, Endurance Capital, focused on building long term shareholder value in listed midcap companies. Christopher Beselin has also founded fram^ and Pangara.com in Vietnam - businesses focused on promoting Vietnam's top 2% IT talent to the top opportunities in the digital industry globally.

Christopher started his career in the active ownership fund Cevian Capital, primarily focusing on retail sector. Christopher has since early 2012 been based in Vietnam, where he founded and as CEO built the country's largest e-commerce company, Lazada.vn from scratch to a market leader with today 1000s of employees. In Apr 2016, 51% of Lazada Group was acquired by Ali Baba Group at 2 billion USD valuation. 

Christopher is a frequented speaker on e-commerce in Southeast Asia and an advisor to the United Nations (UNCTAD) on the topics of promoting e-trade and digital business in emerging markets. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, including MBA courses at the Tsinghua University, Beijing China.
