KOTO’s annual fundraising bike ride is back for it’s 15th year! For this very special occasion we are going to amp up the fun with a fundraising contest. In the weeks leading up to Dream Ride registered participants can compete to raise the most funds and be eligible for some fantastic prizes. All proceeds from Dream Ride will go to supporting KOTO’s not-for-profit vocational training program so that we can continue providing hopes for a better future to Vietnam’s at-risk and disadvantaged youth.
Growing from just 30 riders in 2001 to over 100 riders KOTO has been able to raise over $265,000 USD over the last 15 years! Our goal this year is to attract 200 riders and raise $25,000 USD.
On Sunday November 20th KOTO Dream Riders will start out at the United Nations International School (UNIS), from there we will continue to the historic Chua Thay Pagoda at the foot of the Sai Son mountains before riding back to UNIS. This scenic 65 km fun ride will allow Dream Riders to explore the countryside around Hanoi that features many beautiful pagodas and rice fields.
