  • Phuong Anh Nguyen - Country Head of Marketing Vietnam, Google

 

Phuong Anh joins Google Asia Pacific as the Head of Marketing, Vietnam in July 2015 and is responsible for overseeing and managing Google's marketing efforts across all products and brand campaigns.Prior to Google, Phuong Anh was the Managing Director of the Zalora Group, Vietnam, and brings 7+ years of experience working across eCommerce, fashion, brands, media and consumer insights from various markets.

Phuong Anh started her career in communication design and fashion publishing; working for magazines such as ELLE Vietnam and V Magazine in New York.  She discovered her love of technology and marketing when working at Zalora, where she was responsible for driving customer acquisition, business development and marketing initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, from the University of Applied Science in Berlin, is an active member of Global Shapers HCM and is a mentor in various youth and start-up development programs in Vietnam.

In an increasingly digital environment eCommerce continues to evolve as it becomes focused on using the greatest variety of marketing channels and techniques to reach consumers with all activities drive by performance metrics. eCommerce companies are using apps, databases, email marketing, online advertising, print advertising, PR driven consumer content, social and video networks as well as offline marketing at events and even retail all in the effort to attract consumers and turn them into prospects and then customers.

But how do companies measure their marketing campaigns across multiple media and mediums to identify their ROI (return on investment) and identify their best and most profitable customers?  It’s through the use of performance metrics and an understanding of both consumers and technology.

In this presentation, Phuong Anh Nguyen, the new Country Head of Marketing for Google and ex-head of Zalora Vietnam will share her insights into the evolving world of eCommerce and technology and best practices for companies in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.

Deboo Mohanty is a Marketing & Advertising Investment Specialist, who has been working in the Industry for more than 20 years.  He has been in Vietnam for last 10 years and prior to this worked in India.  He holds a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Marketing and Media.

In his career progression, Deboo has gained valuable insights into evolution of market, media, brands and consumers.  He has been instrumental in his client’s foray into Content, Digital advertising and Advertising in Rural Markets of both India and Vietnam.

He has worked with advertisers such as Unilever, P&G, Colgate Palmolive, Reckitt-Benckiser, Sanofi, GSK, Nestle, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Heineken, Mead Johnson, Abbott, THP and Masan.

VivaKi Vietnam is a member of Publicis Groupe Media, which owns and runs worldwide media agencies including Equinox, Performics, Starcom and Zenith, Optimedia.

In his current role, Peeyush look’s after the Mindshare Mobile and Technology business across all the global, regional and local brands in Vietnam.  His goal is to bring brands to life to consumers by creating engaging experiences, meaningful interactions and personal connections with brands.
