  • Pierre Cahuzac

         - Chief Marketplace Officer, Lazada Vietnam

 

Pierre Cahuzac is French business executive experienced in the media and telecom industry who joined Lazada Vietnam three years ago, at the early stage of Lazada’s development in Vietnam.

As Chief Marketplace Officer, he is in charge of the development and scaling of the seller ecosystem of Lazada Vietnam which currently includes more than 4,000 sellers and 600,000 products that are sold on the Lazada website.

Pierre, was the former head of Lazada in Hanoi, and built up the office in Hanoi to 60 people within one year and saw the Hanoi operations grow to account for 1/3rd of Lazada’s business. 

Pierre is an ESSEC Graduate and has completed an international business master education and his professional experience includes leadership positions within sales, category management, business development, and strategic planning. He is a demanding, detailed oriented, international team player with strong management and analytic skills and a keen insight into Vietnam’s e-commerce industry.

  • Truong Nguyen

          - Founder / CEO, chopp.vn

 

Truong Nguyen is a true farm boy from Vietnam turned entrepreneurial product designer and hacker. He is the Founder/CEO at Chopp, hustling and hacking between San Francisco & Vancouver.

Born and raised in Tan An, Long An, Vietnam, he received a scholarship to study in the USA at the age of 15. After graduating high school, he attended Louisiana Tech University and obtained his BFA in Design.

Between 2010 and 2012, he helped build products at Threadsy (acquired by Facebook) in San Francisco and Etsy in New York as a product designer and front-end developer.

In 2013, he co-founded a San Francisco digital incubator / agency – Axiom Zen, who has now grown into a 50+ people with offices in Vancouver, SF and Santiago, Chile. He helped built its core team and played a founding role in building one of their most successful products, ZenHub.

Truong moved back to Vietnam in October 2015 to pursue his latest business venture, Chopp – the first on-demand grocery delivery service in Vietnam.

  • Lam Tran

​         - CEO, Wise Pass

 

Lam Tran is the CEO of Wise Pass, a mobile shopping app that launched in Vietnam in 2015. Previously he worked in Vietnam as the Head of Marketing of NhomMua.com and Tiki.vn and worked for Google in Europe as a Senior Account Strategist. He has launched his venture, Wise Pass, to bridge the gap between the online and offline world with mobile.

  • Yen Vu

          - Head of Marketing, Zalora Vietnam

 

Yen Vu graduated from the London School of Economics – a world’s top 10 university and worked in the international banking and finance industry for five years. She went through the fast-track Management Associate Program at CitiBank and received the CEO Award for her contribution.

In 2014, Yen decided to pursue e-commerce and became Head of Marketing at Zalora, one of Vietnam’s leading e-commerce sites and an entity of the world’s largest e-commerce company in fashion (GFG). Yen’s work revolved around analyzing and optimizing online campaigns and marketing activities and providing insight into Vietnamese consumer in order to maximize the company’s growth.

Yen is the former curator and now active member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community – an initiative for young leaders to work on projects to improve the state of local communities. She was selected as one of two youth representatives to welcome British Prime Minister David Cameron in his first official visit to Vietnam in 2015.
