Vở múa solo MUTANTE lấy cảm hứng từ hình ảnh độc đáo của đô thị Việt Nam. Khi di chuyển bằng xe máy, phụ nữ Việt Nam thường trùm kín mặt và cơ thể để tránh nắng và khói bụi. Do đó, trong phút chốc, họ biến đổi thành những nhân vật vô danh, vô diện.
Sau thành công của vở diễn đa ngành Distorsions Urbaines tại Nhà hát Tp.Hồ Chí Minh năm 2017 với sự tham gia của nữ hoàng nhạc hip hop SUBOI và nhạc sĩ trẻ dòng nhạc điện tử Teddy Chilla, nghệ sĩPierre Larauza và Emmanuelle Vincent / t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e tiếp tục hợp tác lần thứ hai với những người bạn Việt Nam này. Một phần của vở múa Mutante đã được giới thiệu vào tháng 1 năm 2018 trong khuôn khổ triển lãm Chuyển mình hứng khởi tại Bảo tàng Mỹ Thuật Tp.Hồ Chí Minh.

Le solo MUTANTE est inspirée d’une singularité urbaine vietnamienne où les femmes se couvrent entièrement le visage et le corps lors de leurs déplacements à moto pour se protéger du soleil et de la pollution. Elles se transforment momentanément en des personnes anonymes et sans visages. Mais qui sont-elles ?
Après le succès du spectacle pluridisciplinaire Distorsions Urbaines à l’Opéra de HCMV en 2017 avec la reine du hip hop SUBOI et le jeune compositeur électronique Teddy Chilla, les artistes Pierre Larauza et Emmanuelle Vincent / t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e présentent une deuxième collaboration avec leurs amis Vietnamiens. Une étape de travail du spectacle Mutante a été présentée en janvier 2018 dans le cadre de l’exposition Le sourire de la mutation au Musée des Beaux-Arts de HCMV.

The MUTANTE solo is inspired by a Vietnamese urban singularity where women cover their faces and bodies entirely when travelling by motorcycle to protect themselves from the sun and pollution. They momentarily transform into anonymous and faceless people.
After the success of the multidisciplinary show Distorsions Urbaines at the HCMV Opera in 2017 with hip hop queen SUBOI and young electronic composer Teddy Chilla, artists Pierre Larauza and Emmanuelle Vincent / t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e present a second collaboration with their Vietnamese friends. A working stage of the Mutante show was presented in January 2018 as part of the exhibition Le sourire de la mutation at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de HCMV.

Từ năm 2003, t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e / Pierre Larauza và Emmanuelle Vincent bắt đầu nghiên cứu chuyển động thông qua các loại hình nghệ thuật lai ghép đương đại, từ biểu diễn đến sắp đặt, thông qua những bộ phim về múa và workshop, liên kết nhiều bộ môn nghệ thuật với nhau trong cách tiếp cận giao thoa văn hóa. Họ còn tham gia giảng dạy tại trường Đại học Mỹ thuật Tp.Hồ Chí Minh nơi t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e / Pierre Larauza và Emmanuelle Vincent sáng lập ra phòng thí nghiệm nghệ thuật đa văn hóa Máy xay sinh tố vào năm 2016, cùng với nghệ sĩ Thy Nguyên Truong Minh và hiệu trưởng Nguyên Van Minh.

Depuis 2003, t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e / Pierre Larauza et Emmanuelle Vincent explore le mouvement à travers des formes hybrides contemporaines allant de la performance à l'installation en passant par des films de danse et des workshops, croisant les disciplines dans une approche transculturelle. Ils travaillent aussi comme intervenants à l’Université des Beaux Arts de HCMV où ils ont fondé en 2016 Máy xay sinh tố, un laboratoire artistique transculturel, avec l’artiste Thy Nguyên Truong Minh et le recteur Nguyên Van Minh.

Since 2003, t.r.a.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e / Pierre Larauza and Emmanuelle Vincent have been exploring movement through contemporary hybrid forms ranging from performance to installation, dance films and workshops, crossing disciplines in a cross-cultural approach. They also work as lecturers at the University of Fine Arts of HCMV where they founded in 2016 Máy xay sinh tố, a transcultural art laboratory, with the artist Thy Nguyên Truong Minh and the rector Nguyên Van Minh.
