About speakers:

      1. Paul Sorensen

Academic Director, Senior Lecturer at ERC International

Paul has extensive business experience working for international companies and also teaching in university business programs in Asia. His business experience spans 20 years in the U.S., including journalism, advertising, human resources management, and corporate mission and strategy. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Biology, and a Master’s of Business Management graduate degree.  In his teaching career over the past decade, he has taught a wide range of students in business bachelor’s and master’s programs in Vietnam and China. His business teaching experience includes Marketing, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurism, Business Communications, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Globalization, Creativity in Business, and Organization and Structure. Paul has also tutored top-level executives in several corporate clients in Vietnam, including Unilever Corporation, BIDV Bank, and Exim Bank.”

      2. Lim Chor Ghee

Co-Founder of IMM Group, General Director of Tricor Vietnam

Chor Ghee is the Co-Founder of IMM Group and the General Director of Tricor Vietnam. With more than 24 years of working experience and based in Vietnam since 2007, he has extensive experience in cross border investment, market entry strategies and joint venture, and financial, tax and business advisory. A CPA Australia member, he holds postgraduate qualifications in business administration, international politics and e-commerce form Australia and UK. He is passionate in nurturing young talents and are active with lecturing MBA programs in finance.

      3. Thomas Jakobsen

Managing Director of Gate to Asia Trading and Consulting Company

Thomas has over 10 years’ experience in investment and Mergers and Acquisitions in Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on renewable energy and environmental sectors. Thomas brings a strong and well-established track record in clean development including projects in energy efficiency, solar and wind energy, biofuel, environmental surveying, and infrastructure. He is the Managing Director of Gate to Asia Trading and Consulting Company, an investment advisory services company specializing in energy projects, and former Chief Investment Officer at Anpha Capital.
