Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO)

Được thành lập vào năm 2017, Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Mặt Trời – The Sun Symphony Orchestra với sự đồng hành của Tập đoàn Sun Group, đặt mục tiêu trở thành một trong những dàn nhạc giao hưởng Việt Nam đạt đẳng cấp quốc tế, làm giàu thêm đời sống tinh thần của công chúng thông qua âm nhạc và mang đến những tiêu chuẩn mới cho nền văn hóa – nghệ thuật nước nhà.
Dưới sự dẫn dắt của Giám đốc m nhạc/Nhạc trưởng người Pháp Olivier Ochanine, Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Mặt Trời đã hợp tác cùng một số nghệ sỹ nổi tiếng thế giới như: Nghệ sỹ Opera Hàn Quốc Sumi Jo, Nghệ sỹ Piano người Anh Benjamin Grosvenor, Nghệ sỹ Violon người Nga Sergei Dogadin và Nghệ sỹ Violon Việt Nam Bùi Công Duy. Trong năm 2019, Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Mặt Trời tiếp tục mang đến những buổi hòa nhạc đẳng cấp, thu hút khán giả từ mọi tầng lớp, lứa tuổi – đúng như sứ mệnh mà Hội đồng Sáng lập, các nghệ sỹ cùng đội ngũ nhân viên của Dàn nhạc tin tưởng và kỳ vọng.

Established in 2017, under the umbrella of the Sun Group, the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) aims to become one of Vietnam’s premier classical orchestras, enriching the lives of the country’s people through music and bringing a new standard to the Vietnamese cultural scene. Through a rigorous audition process, the orchestra is comprised of some of the finest musicians from around the world and Vietnam. The Sun Symphony Orchestra serves as the nation’s cultural jewel, bringing international-caliber performances to its enthusiastic audiences. In addition to its Mainstage Concert Series, the orchestra is becoming popular for its chamber music performances and for its significant role in educating and mentoring the young people of Vietnam.

Under the baton of Maestro Ochanine, the orchestra has already collaborated with some of the most famous artists in the world including: Korean soprano Sumi Jo, British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, Russian violinist Sergei Dogadin and well-known Vietnamese violinist Bui Cong Duy. In 2019, the Sun Symphony Orchestra wishes to continue creating performances that capture the attention of people from all ages and backgrounds, a vision in which our Board, musicians, and staff believe. Most recently, the Sun Symphony Orchestra has partnered in an Educational Series with the Vietnam National Academy of Music, where the orchestra hopes to inspire the next generation of young people and to share with them their passion and knowledge in music.

Driven to build a leading orchestra of international quality, it is the vision and motivation of Maestro Olivier Ochanine and the Sun Symphony Orchestra to continue their hard work and pursue excellence.
