Talk 1 by Triet-Minh Tran
Minh-Triet Tran is an Associate Professor and the Vice President at University of Science. He received PhD degree in University of Science in 2009. His research topics include computer vision, machine learning, virtual reality, and augmented reality. He has authored and co-authored 90+ research papers with 400+ citations according to Google Scholar.
Talk 2 by Tiep-Vinh Nguyen
Vinh-Tiep Nguyen is currently a lecturer at University of Information Technology, researcher at Multimedia Communications Laboratory (MMLab), VNU-HCM. He received his B.Sc. degree at University of Science, VNUHCM and M.Sc. degree at University of Science in a co-program with John von Neumann Institute. His research interest is about computer vision, machine learning and human-computer interaction.
Talk 3 by Dung-Duc Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen received PhD degree in Computer Science at Sungkyunkwan Univ., Korea in 2014. His research topics involve computer vision algorithms, image processing and real-time system. He worked with mathematical models and optimization methods for applications in computer vision and image processing. He has considerable experience in working with deep-sensing camera (Kinect) and stereo system in 3D recognition projects.
From 2015, he joined Hochiminh City University of Technology as a lecturer and a researcher. He works in Machine Learning, and focus on Deep Learning research. His research in Deep Learning involves in various projects, from chatbot, object detection, image captioning, to sound processing, and NLP. He is leading a research group in HCMUT and focusing on developing DL technology for real-world applications.
