This November and December, we are proud to introduce to you Saigon International Music Week - the very first time in VietNam. Starting on 26th November at Cargo, SAIGON International Music Week will bring you the unique and talent artists from Australia, US, UK and even Vietnam.
Number 1 UK act, THE VACCINES, will be coming to Vietnam to kick off the first Saigon International Music Week on 26th November
Since blazing a trail with their debut album, ‘What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?’ in 2011 – the biggest selling debut by a UK artist that year, The Vaccines have taken their infectious brand of indie pop around the world and managed to follow up their debut success with number 1 sophomore effort, Come Of Age and sell out shows at London’s Alexandra Palace and 02 Arena.
Expect high energy, euphoric abandon, sing-a-long anthems and potentially, one of the best atmospheres Saigon has ever had for a live music show.
THE LEMONHEADS, will play their first ever Vietnam show at Cargo Bar on 2nd Dec, supported by local garage punksters, The Secret Asians and James and the Van der Beeks.
Fronted by the enigmatic Evan Dando, The Lemonheads’ story is a dichotomy of a unique talent, charming pop songs and blissful psychedelia juxtaposed with chaos, personal meltdowns, self-imposed exile and a revolving door of band members.

That's what they say about JAGWAR MA. Having released one of 2013’s finest debut albums in Howlin, Jagwar Ma have experienced a meteoric rise in little over 12 months, playing sold-out shows around the globe, enthralling unsuspecting festival audiences and earning a reputation as one of the best live acts on the planet.
This 4th December, JAGWAR MA will be making their Vietnam debut at Cargo Bar as part of Saigon International Music Week.

Cargo Bar is a dedicated music and arts venue designed and committed to delivering original and diverse entertainment and lifestyle to all comers. From Cargo's location at Saigon Port, just over the bridge from District 1, it has been formed with creativity and imagination to provide a multifunctional and highly versatile venue that delivers a space and atmosphere similar to a New York studio or London warehouse.
With a passionate philosophy of developing local artists and musicians and creating opportunities for international acts to come and perform, Cargo is a community project that embraces what it's audience can bring. In addition to it's international ambiance and feel, Cargo boasts a hugely dynamic quality sound and lighting experience using only the best available equipment and technical team in country. Regular features through the week will include local and international live acts, DJs, artists, photographers and artistic nights.
Cargo's interior set up and design is constantly changing as we move from event to event. One day the main bar is on the back wall, the next you will find it in the middle of the room. But where every you find it, the bar will be covering all the local favorites of draft beer, cider and mixed drinks at very reasonable prices away from the $$'s that the city centre demandsCargo is an event space and is only open when we have something on.
