The Rainbow Show is a contemporary music show featuring Vietnamese instruments combined with the Western symphony orchestra, demonstrating the quintessence of Vietnam’s nature and daily life.
The Rainbow Show gives audience a new experience for enjoying music with world class songs re-written for traditional Vietnamese instruments. This subtle combination not only shows the uniqueness of Vietnamese traditional instruments, but also emphasizes the wonderful harmony between Asian and European cultures.
Quang Le is the founder and Music Director of THE RAINBOW SHOW. As a professional pianist, Quang Le pursues his love of both classical and contemporary music. A firm believer that the uniqueness and charm of traditional Vietnamese instruments and music should be shared and appreciated worldwide, he established THE RAINBOW SHOW in an attempt to realize the potential of Vietnamese cultural entertainment.

Sylvian Nguyen was recommended to join Saigon Orchestra Company to enhance the visual language of THE RAINBOW SHOW. Her innovative artistic sensibility and extensive experience in applied arts made her an obvious candidate for developing the concept and performances as well as designing the visual elements and stage lighting of the show.
H'MONG FLUTE
H'Mong flute is an instrument of H'Mong ethnic group in the Northwest of Vietnam. In the Rainbow Show, talented young artist Dinh Nhat Minh performed H'Mong flute with Symphony Orchestra. An early morning dawn in the Northwest, the clarity of the H'Mong H'Mong flute resounds with the first rays of sunshine on the top of the mountain... That was the emotional opening scene of the Rainbow Show.
BAMBOO XYLOPHONES
Dan To Rung is a traditional bamboo xylophones and used by the Jarai people and Bahnar people in Vietnam's Central Highlands. Listening to the sound of To Rung we feel like murmuring streams, cascades, the rustling of bamboo forest when the wind blows.
MONOCHORD
A unique Vietnamese musical instrument. The uniqueness of monochord (Dan Bau) that it can play polyphonic rhythms with only one string in a single flap while other instruments only produce monophonic.
