Taking the Golden Dragon image, Danang Dragons was founded and became the first professional basketball team representing for Da Nang and the Central Region, under the guidance of young coaches - Donte Hill. VBA is the first Professional Basketball Tournament in Vietnam was built according to the standard model of international professional. Launched in 2016 until now, VBA 2018 has been increased to a total of 6 participating teams, including Hanoi Buffaloes, Danang Dragons, Cantho Catfish, HCMC Wings and Saigon Heat. In 2017, VBA brought the dramatic moment from the beginning to the end of the season with the Thang Long Warriors beating the Cantho Catfish in 5 games to clinch their first VBA title.
Back to a new season, VBA 2018 promises to continue to satisfy Vietnamese basketball fans with intense, bloody and dramatic matches. 6 teams, 4 cities, 1 championship, which team will be crowned at VBA this year?
