Being the first representative of Hanoi to attend Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA) and also the first representative for basketball in North Vietnam to participate in the regional arena (TBSL 2017), Hanoi Buffaloes has been building the team with playful, beautifully; focus on the defense but still gives the audience the moment of excitement. Besides, Hanoi Buffaloes is really a family for not only the players, the coaches but also all those who love and support the movement of basketball in Hanoi when always appear as an united team both in and out of the stadium, along with the basketball philosophy of teamwork.

VBA is the first Professional Basketball Tournament in Vietnam was built according to the standard model of international professional. Launched in 2016 until now, VBA 2018 has been increased to a total of 6 participating teams, including Hanoi Buffaloes, Danang Dragons, Cantho Catfish, HCMC Wings and Saigon Heat. In 2017, VBA brought the dramatic moment from the beginning to the end of the season with the Thang Long Warriors beating the Cantho Catfish in 5 games to clinch their first VBA title.
Back to a new season, VBA 2018 promises to continue to satisfy Vietnamese basketball fans with intense, bloody and dramatic matches. 6 teams, 4 cities, 1 championship, which team will be crowned at VBA this year?
