Đến từ lĩnh vực khiêu vũ, Frederique Chauveaux là một nữ quay phim thử nghiệm người Pháp. Từ năm 1984 đến năm 1996, cô đã tự điều hành Công ty "The Bridge of Arts" của mình, nơi cô đã tạo ra nhiều tác phẩm vũ đạo chất vấn về mối quan hệ về Người tình- khác. Ngoài công việc nghiên cứu, cô thường xuyên cộng tác với các đạo diễn opera hoặc nhà hát (Roman Polanski, Antoine Vitez, André Hengel).

Năm 1998, cô bắt đầu làm việc với video; phương tiện này cho phép cô có một cái nhìn mới về cơ thể con người và nghiễm nhiên đã trở thành chủ đề chính trong các sáng tạo của cô.

Kể từ đó, Frederique Chauveaux tưởng tượng ra các bản cài đặt video mà trong đó, cô tìm cách lôi kéo người xem về mặt thể chất và cảm giác, bằng cách đặt người ta vào trung tâm của tác phẩm.

Frederique sẽ giới thiệu hành trình nghệ thuật của cô bắt đầu từ khiêu vũ sang nghệ thuật thị giác, phát triển những khoảnh khắc chuyển từ thực tiễn này sang thực tiễn khác. Cô sẽ nói về cơ thể, vật chất (da thịt, da, hoạt thạch, đất sét), chất vấn về ảnh khoả thân, sự gợi cảm và trình bày dự án mà cô muốn phát triển ở Sài Gòn.

Coming from the dance field, Frederique Chauveaux is a French experimental videographer. From 1984 to 1996 she directed her own Company "The Bridge of Arts" for which she created many choreographic pieces questioning the relation to the Other-lover. In addition to her research work, she regularly collaborated with directors of operas or theatre (Roman Polanski, Antoine Vitez, André Hengel).

In 1998 she began to work with video; this medium allows her to take a new look at the body which naturally becomes the main subject of his creations.

Since then Frederique Chauveaux imagines video installations by which she seeks to involve the viewer physically and sensually by placing him at the heart of the work.

Frederique will introduce her artistic journey that started with dance to visual art, developing the moments of transition from one practice to another. She will talk about the body, matter (flesh, skin, talc, clay…), the question of nudity and sensuality and present the project she would like to develop in Saigon.
