 Âm nhạc của thế kỷ 18 / Music of the 18th century (Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jean-Paul-Égide Martini and Giovanni Bononcini giải thích bởi / performed by Lâm Hoài Bão (violin), Thái Ngọc Thùy Trang (piano),  Lại Huy Hoàng (cello), Đặng Trí Dũng (piano), Vũ Minh Trí (bariton) và / and Nguyễn Thị Thanh Nguyên (Soprano).

ĐỊA ĐIỂM / VENUE:

Salon Saigon là một không gian được sinh ra nhằm mục đích tôn vinh văn hóa, nghệ thuật truyền thống cũng như đương đại cũa Việt Nam

Salon Sài Gòn tọa lạc trong một trong ba hnà đó thuộc về Đại sứ Mỹ Henry Cabot Lodge Jr (1902-1985) và gia đình ông, trong thời gian ở Sài Gòn từ năm 1963 đến năm 1967. 

Ngôi nhà gần đây đã được trùng tu để bão tồn những giá trị ban đầu của nó , ngoài ra  với tác phẩm nghệ thuật đương đại được them vào  làm cho Salon Saigon thuận tiện hơn trong việc lưu trữ các sự kiện văn hóa đầy ý nghĩa.

Salon Sài Gòn được  lấy tên sau khi tham khảo các mỹ viện (tụ tập) nở rộ ở Pháp suốt thế kỷ 17 và 18. Dựa vào sự hiếu khách, những cuộc họp mặt tinh ý thức – theo định nghĩa của Horace: "hoặc là để làm hài lòng hoặc để giáo dục" ("Aut delectare aut prodesse est"). Họ đã phần nào được tổ chức để giải trí những người tham gia và đồng thời tinh chỉnh các hương vị nghệ thuật và nâng cao kiến thức của họ. Các mỹ viện thường liên quan , gắn bó với văn học, nghệ thuật, khám phá khoa học và trào lưu triết học.

Salon Saigon is a space dedicated to contemporary creation and Vietnamese culture.

It is established in one of the three houses that belonged to US Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge Jr (1902-1985) and his family, during their stay in Saigon from 1963 to 1967.

The house has been recently restored in order to keep its original features while mixing it with contemporary artworks and making it more convenient for hosting meaningful cultural events.

The name and main concept of “Salon Saigon” refer to the Salons (gatherings) that flourished in France throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. Based on hospitality, these refined gatherings consciously followed Horace's definition of the aims of poetry: "either to please or to educate" ("aut delectare aut prodesse est"). They were partly held to amuse the participants and to refine the taste and increase their knowledge. The Salons were commonly associated with literature, art, science discoveries and philosophical movements.

Triển lãm tập hợp tác phẩm của 5 họa sĩ, sử dụng nhiều trường phái khác nhau; cho dù là ẩn dụ, hay trừu tượng, thực tế hay lập dị, tượng trưng hay nội tâm, tác phẩm của họ là minh chứng cho sự linh hoạt và tự phát của hội họa.

The exhibition brings together the work of five artists that utilize the medium of drawing in diverse ways; whether more figurative or more abstract, more realistic or more fantastical, more representational or more introspective, their works on paper are proof of how drawing is versatile and spontaneous.
