Tomonori Arai was born in Shibuya, Tokyo, winner of the first Prize at the Junior Guitar Competition, the Student Guitar Competition, and the Spanish Guitar Music Competition. His recordings include solo CDs, "Abrir" "Castillos de Espana" "Simple Essence," guitar trio "Harpo Rhythm, and guitar duo “The Summer Islands” (Wood note studio, 2011 ) with Gen Matsuda and “Aqua in Summer Countries” (2014) with Hitoshi Miyashita. In April 2016 flute and guitar duo album "Beyond the Pyrenees" with Yoshie Ueno was released from Octavia Records. Arai has held recitals in Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Thailand, Nepal, and the Philippines. He is presently teaching in Ueno Gakuen University and the Gendai Guitar Academy.

Tomonori Arai sinh tại Shibuya, Tokyo; anh từng đoạt giải nhất ở các cuộc thi “Junior Guitar Competition”, “Student Guitar Competition” và “Spanish Guitar Music Competition”. Anh thu âm các đĩa độc tấu như: “Abrir”, “Castillos de Espana”, “Simple Essence”, cùng với đĩa tam tấu“Harpo Rhythm”, song tấu guitar “The Summer Islands” (Wood note studio, 2011) cùng với Gen Matsuda và “Aqua in Summer Countries” (2014) song tấu cùng Hitoshi Miyashita. Vào tháng tư năm 2016, Octavia Records phát hành album song tấu của anh cùng với nghệ sĩ flute Yoshie Ueno mang tên "Beyond the Pyrenees". Arai cũng tổ chức các buổi biểu diễn ở Đức, Áo, Pháp, Cộng Hoà Séc, Bỉ, Ý, Thái Lan, Nepal và Philippines. Hiện nay anh giảng dạy tại Đại học Ueno Gakuen University và Học Viện Guitar Gendai.

RENE IZQUIERDO (Cuba - USA)

Mr. Izquierdo is a recipient of numerous awards. He is a winner of JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Competition in 2004, Extremadura International Guitar Competition, Schadt String competition, Stotsenberg International Guitar Competition among others.He is currently a professor of classical guitar at the Wisconsin State University in Milwaukee and an active solo performer and chamber musician. Rene has studied with Leo Brouwer, David Russell, Shin-Ichi Fukuda, Eli Kassner, Pepe Romero, Angel Romero, Carlos Barbosa-Lima, David Starobin, Eduardo Fernandez, Jorge Morel, Robert Beaser and Anthony Newman among others.

Rene Izquierdo là nghệ sĩ khách mời thường xuyên xuất hiện trong các chương trình âm nhạc thính phòng khắp nơi từ Mỹ cho đến Cuba và Châu âu. Anh cũng đã từng đứng chung sân khấu với các nghệ sĩ guitar danh tiếng như Eliot Fisk, Benjamin Verdery và Jorge Morel, hay các nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng khác như nghệ sĩ kèn flute Ransom Wilson, ca sĩ giọng Soprano Lucy Shelton, David Jolley và Paquito d’Rivera. Bên cạnh đó một số nhạc sĩ nổi tiếng như Jorge Morel và Carlos R. Rivera đều đã từng đề tặng tác phẩm của mình cho anh. Rene Izquierdo từng nhận được nhiều giải thưởng, trong đó có Giải nhất các Cuộc thi Guitar quốc tế JoAnn Falletta 2004, Cuộc thi Guitar quốc tế “Extremadura”, Cuộc thi “Schadt String”, Cuộc thi Guitar quốc tế “Stotsenberg”...
