Meetup topic: Monitoring & Alerting of Microservices

Most people start monitoring from the position of, “Something broke, we should monitor it and alert if it breaks again”. But this results in a confusing mix.

Starting with why we monitor, then looking at how we know if we’re doing it well; and then finally what we’re going to monitor and alert on is critical for monitoring of modern complex microservices architectures.    

In our meetup, we’ll also offer you solutions on how we can collect logs from Lambda functions running on different AWS accounts.
