Tomochain is a public Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchain with low transaction fees, fast confirmation time, double validation and randomization for security guarantees. Tomochain uses a Proof-of-Stake Voting (PoSV) consensus model, a PoS-based blockchain protocol with fair voting mechanisms. Using this model, the blockchain gains a low probability of forks, fast confirmation times, added to the contributions and benefits derived from masternodes being fair in the sense that the probability distribution function become uniform.

Training Syllabus

Learning objective: Build upon experience working with other blockchains to become a commercially competent Tomochain developer. Familiarize participants with the publicly available Tomochain development tools.

Prerequisites: Development experience with a blockchain such as Ethereum or Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python, HTML and CSS, and cryptographic hashes.

Training Module 1: How Tomochain Works (April 6, 2019 - 9AM-2PM)

- Why Tomochain (2 hours)

- How to set up a development environment and connect to testnet (2 hours)

Training Module 2: Tomochain Smart Contract Basics (April 7, 2019 - 9AM-2PM)

- Smart contract overview, with game and supply chain contract as example (3 hours)

- How to build a simple Dapp on Tomochain (3 hours)
