Defused Mood presents the Treehouse Festival for our 6th editon. Hanoi’s most coveted full day festival presents a fine arrangement of live sounds, DJ’s, experimental performances, art exhibitions, and a range of off the cusp experiences and culinary delights at the infamous Dao Anh Khanh Studio.

Our abstract paradise will encompass the things that serve our souls, with the sounds of Hanoi’s musicians unleashing the quarantined creations of time spent creating without pressure - the beauty presented like a letter from the past to show that down time can be time well spent.

The live lounge will encompass a vintage aesthetic snapshot of our old world, with clunky technology, old furniture, and antique TV screens emitting the days of our pasts - and the sounds of psychedelic rock, neo-jazz, and experimental multi instrumentalism serenades our nostalgic dream. On the screen, a documentary will be shown showcasing a 1984-esque tale of art, government control, and the drive for expression.

The dancefloor discovers the dynamic flexibility of the sounds of the future that resonate with our bodies, as we dance and bend like the waveforms on the decks. Forever improvising - our minds and bodies interpret the sounds and react accordingly.

The space will react and adapt as well - with visual stimuli taking you down a rabbit hole of alternate realities.

Art exhibitions will adorn the space and the 360° polymorph of the senses. Our most adored local vendors serving delights, a visual amalgamation of Hanoi’s live visual artists - mixed with paintings , a comforting space above with interactive art, and the sounds of an expansive music community based in Vietnam.

Abstract Paradise awaits you, and Defused Mood invites you to join our celebrated communal and collective festival that showcases and nurtures the creative community within Hanoi, South East Asia, and the World.
