TRG Talk: Project Management

To help grow the Project Management community we are holding a regular informal meetup every First Thursday at PJ’s Coffee in Sala. These events will discuss about Project Management and provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss specific issues and challenges they have with experienced Projects Managers in Vietnam.

This month we discuss: The Role of a Project Manager

In a small sense project managers perform the same functions as other managers i.e. planning, organising, leading, and controlling. However, what makes them unique is that they manage temporary, non-repetitive activities to complete a fixed life project. Projects managers create a project team and organisation where none existed before. Project managers usually work with a diverse group of people and are ultimately responsible for the completion of the project. Come along to hear more about the role of a project manager and how other attendees manage their projects.
