Come join us at The Hive Villa for the premiere screening of SAIGON METALHOOD, an hour-long documentary about the past and present of Vietnam's underground rock and metal scene. In addition, we'll be celebrating the release of the official Saigon Metalhood soundtrack album - the first-ever compilation of all the best homegrown Saigon metal music.

The documentary journeys from the pre-1975 era of American rock 'n' roll influence, followed by a musically barren decade after which signs of life emerged in the Saigon metal scene - only to meet with a slew of new obstacles and challenges. Learn about the past from grizzled rocker Trung Thanh, experience the chaotic apex of Vietnamese brutal music with Trung Loki, and witness young Legacy CO's attempts to catapult the local scene forward by booking prominent foreign metal bands to Vietnam.
