We excitedly invite you to the opening of a new community in our beautiful city. We will be coming together for our first ecstatic dance event on March 3rd from 5-8pm in Thao Dien at Lang spot.

Ecstatic dance is a free form dance event where you will be able to move and groove with the amazing beats and sounds of a curated DJ set. This is a safe space to express your body in a judgment free conscious community zone.

Ecstatic dance is a unique experience not like any bar or club. We invite you to come to our event without the need for drugs or alcohol. Instead through dance and movement we will feel intoxicated off the natural high of the experience.

In addition to no alcohol, we also ask that you turn your phones off for the entirety of the event. An important part of what we want to create is a time for you to be conscious, in the present moment and fully in the now. While we will have plenty of time to talk and get to know each other and a chill out patio where you can talk, we will also ask you to refrain from talking on the dance floor.

We will also ask you to dance without your shoes. Both for the safety of everyone else dancing and the connection that bare feet or socks create with the earth while dancing.

This experience will be a 3 hour immersive event. See below for the schedule and come on time to be a part of the whole experience.

Warm up: We will start at 5pm with a warm up lead by David Siller. To begin with we will open up our bodies with movement and connective explorations. This will give you the opportunity to get comfortable with the space and with the other dancers. There will also be time for mediation and the setting of intentions.

Opening circle: We will welcome and introduce everyone to the concepts of ecstatic dance and set the stage for the event.

Ecstatic dance set: 6pm-7:30pm with DJ Tristatic. You will be guided through a sound journey with diverse sounds that will have you moving in ways you couldn’t imagine. Tristan is an experienced ecstatic dance DJ who will guide us through a full range of musical sounds from soft flowing sounds to full on, full power energetic music and multi-cultural tribal beats that will enable you to let go and get into the full experience of dancing.

Sound Bath: As the music comes to a close we invite everyone into a Savasana or meditation pose to enjoy relaxing and integrative sounds of healing gongs, bowls and chimes.

Closing circle: We will gather together to have time for sharing about the experience and any openings we encountered, as well as leave time for any announcements. Goodbye, go home and take rest.. 8pm…
