FORBES VIETNAM BUSINESS FORUM 2016

Nền kinh tế đang trải qua một giai đoạn phức tạp mà cơ hội và khó khăn, thử thách đều nhiều ngang nhau. Cơ hội đang tiếp tục được mở ra từ thị trường đông dân với cơ cấu dân số trẻ và nhu cầu tiêu dùng lớn; từ cánh cửa hội nhập với khu vực và thế giới  với việc tham gia vào hàng loạt hiệp định thương mại tự do; Thách thức đồng thời đến từ chính những vấn đề thể chế nội tại, về môi trường kinh doanh chưa hoàn hảo và sự hạn chế về năng lực của giới doanh nghiệp Việt Nam, trong  khi cạnh tranh ngày càng khốc liệt trên sân nhà cũng như trên thị trường quốc tế.  Trong bối cảnh thế giới đầy biến động với những thay đổi khó đoán định hiện nay, khi nước Anh vừa rời khỏi liên minh châu Âu, nước Mỹ đón chờ một cuộc bầu cử hứa hẹn những thay đổi mang tính lịch sử, nền kinh tế Trung Quốc chưa ra khỏi suy thoái, và những biến động thời tiết ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng tới sản xuất nông nghiệp, cần tới bản lĩnh nhà lãnh đạo.

Tổ chức tại Việt Nam lần thứ 3, diễn đàn kinh doanh thường niên của Forbes Việt Nam năm nay với chủ đề “Vượt qua Thử thách” là nơi để những nhà lãnh đạo hàng đầu của chính phủ và giới doanh nghiệp gặp nhau, thảo luận những vấn đề quan trọng nhất đối với sức khỏe nền kinh tế và doanh nghiệp. Diễn đàn sẽ là nơi lãnh đạo Chính phủ đối thoại với doanh nghiệp nhằm tháo gỡ những nút thắt về chính sách và môi trường kinh doanh đang cản trở sự phát triển của doanh nghiệp. Các doanh nghiệp trong nước và quốc tế sẽ chia sẻ các cơ hội kinh doanh, liên kết, kinh nghiệm quản trị, xây dựng thương hiệu, phát triển nguồn nhân lực, và trách nhiệm với xã hội và cộng đồng. 

Vietnam’s economy is going through an interesting time with opportunities and challenges are equally aplenty. Opportunities are opening up as the young, populated market continues to see a steady growth in demand for consumer goods and housing; Vietnam is further intergrating into the region and the world market by joining a series of free trade agreements.  At the same time, the country is facing challenges from within and outside:  the urgent needs to restructure the system and the refresh the business environment,  and to enhance Vietnamese companies’ s capacity and competiveness. 

In a fast changing world that is witnessing many unprecedented upheavals, as the United Kingdom exited the EU, the upcoming US election expects historic outcomes,  and the Chinese economy is still mired in the recession, and climate change is seriously affecting agriculture production, leadership is needed.

Organized in Vietnam for the third time, this year under the theme “Overcoming Challenges”, Forbes Vietnam’s Business Forum 2016 gathers top minds among policy makers and the business community to discuss the most important issues of the economy and business environment, domestically and internationally. The forum is the place for leaders to exchange ideas and find solutions to the policy and business deadlock that is hindering development. On top of that, Forbes Vietnam’s Business Forum is the platform for international and Vietnamese business leaders to meet and discuss business opportunities, leadership experience, brand building, human resource development as well as social and community responsibilities. This is where partnerships are formed and businesses are created.
