Overview:

The participants will be equipped with the followings:

1. Fundamental information about investment valuation, and why investors conduct valuation before deciding to invest to a startup company

2. Instructions for how to prepare the budget and financial details of the project proposals seeking for IPP’s additional grant.

3. Overview of the financial and legal appraisal that IPP will evaluate the project proposals and teams applying for IPP’s additional grant in Jan-Feb 2016

The interactive training day will be led by Senior Finance and Tax expert from Ernst & Young, IPP Finance Manager and Finance expert.

 

Agenda & Goals:

09:00 – 10:10 Introduction about investment valuation and some typical methods. Learning goals: Why investment valuation is needed? Understand the key issues and what things the startup need to prepare for valuation.

10:10 - 10:20 Coffee Break

10:20 – 11:20 Preparation of Project budget. Learning goal: Preparation for project budget of the 2nd phase grant, IPP.

11:20 – 12:30    Finance and Legal Appraisal. Learning goals: Understand requirements for Finance and Legal Appraisal that require for evaluation of proposal of the 2nd Phase Grant, IPP2
